My dear friend, Nancy Muller is an intensely talented illustrator. She is the artist that designed the lovely bookplates in these books.

One of the very first books that I made when I first started To Boldly Fold was a book for Nancy. I mailed it to her, and even though I’ve been lucky enough to catch snippets of the pages when she posts them in the flickr group, I haven’t seen it since I made it.

Lucky for me, Nancy came to visit this week, and brought her lovely “neat book”. It’s much more than a sketchbook, since each page is beautifully composed and scanned when completed.

It is absolutely an amazing experience to look into a sketchbook that I have made, and see what glorious things are drawn inside.

I’m so happy to see how it has held up over the last two years. I pride myself on my craftsmanship and the importance of using the best quality materials. It’s a true testament to see a book that is carried and used on a daily basis and has had two years of wear.

Her gorgeous illustrations take you into another world. I love, love, love it!
